Attributes of an Effective Store Environment

April 13, 2018

The experience at your store can make or break your business. It’s what will make you stand-out against e-commerce competitors, and bring your customers back. Mike Niemtzow, Co-founder and President of WindowsWear takes us through the best practices of building a successful environment within your store. What are the big-ticket items that stand out to this merchandising expert?

It all starts with the entrance. Wide-open doors and entrances without barriers create a welcoming experience. Closed store front doors can often deter people from entering the store. You want to make it easy to enter and then let them start exploring all the amazing products you have to offer.

It’s also important to identify where you should be placing product. Where are your best sellers or new items located? If they were in the back, move them to the front. Let those attract new buyers as they walk buy.

Mike reviews these important tactics and more. Watch the full video here.
